Business Integrity is based on Personal Ethics
Our counselors are not your typical certified credit counselors. Our credit counselors are certified with the National Associate of Certified Credit Counselors (NACCC). The NACCC is a nationally recognized financial literacy network that provides educational programs that are recognized by many governing bodies such as the U.S. Department of Justice Executive Office of the United States Trustees, Internal Revenue Service, and the Federal Trade Commission.
Our credit counselors have not only studied and mastered topics related to credit. Our certified credit counselors are educated on matters that are associated to credit such as: the causes, the physiological and the emotional effects of debt. In order for our credit counselors to remain certified, they are required by the NACCC to enroll in a college or a university accredited continuing education courses to refresh their knowledge and understand any changes in the law.
In order for our certified credit counselors to remain certified and be a member for the NACCC, they also have to adhere to the Association’s Code of Ethics, acknowledge their understanding, and agreement to the provision. NACCC’s code of ethics requires a credit counselor to understand a client’s welfare, respect for diversity, rights of the client, dual relationship, client code of ethics, confidentiality, right to privacy, and professional responsibility.
